Gardening by Room 156

We have been enjoying getting our garden ready for planting.  It was a lot of hard work to clean it, but we did learn a many things about root systems.  Today we planted sunflower seeds, green peppers, asters and carrots. We had to use our math skills by measuring the garden, dividing it in half and spacing the seeds properly.  Miss Erickson's class will be using the other half of the garden. We are looking forward to harvesting it in the Fall.

Students were very precise as they were planting the seeds.
