I LOVE TO READ MONTH

THANK YOU TO ALL THE GUEST READERS THAT HAVE VISITED OUR CLASSROOM SO FAR!
Mr. Stevenson, Mr. Feilberg,  Mrs. Hixt, Mrs. Haylako and Mrs. Tait came to read us.  It was interesting to hear what reading looks like for them.  Mr. Feilberg loves to read, but not every genre.  He enjoys non-fiction or factual books that he can learn from.  Mr. Stevenson likes books that have to deal with numbers, riddles and jokes and books that teach us a lesson, like it's ok to make mistakes.  Mrs. Hixt read two home made books that she made for her kids when they were young.  It was neat to see.  Mrs. Halayko gave us something to think about and Mrs. Tait entertained us with a book about an old woman.

Mr. Stevenson reading to the class.  We enjoyed his expression and enthusiasm.
Mr. Feilberg read us an interesting true railway story and he tried to scare us with a ghost story, but it wasn't scary at all.
Mrs. Halayko read us a book about "Sticky Fingers" and about always being honest and never to take something that doesn't belong to us.  We enjoyed listening to her teach us a lesson on being true to yourself.
Mrs. Tait came to read to us a story about a old woman who named all her things, like her bed because she knew they would never leave her.  We liked how she read with expression.
