We wrote a letter to Santa last week requesting an Elf on a Shelf and to our surprise our wish was granted! This morning we came to school and we were all disappointed that the Elf did not come. During singing of O'Canada Shyanne noticed something up high in our butterfly cage and guess what there were two red, skinny legs and something that looked like an Elf. With our closer inspection, it was determined that yes, indeed, it was an Elf on the Shelf. Santa wrote us a letter, which Chloe read to the class. When Roxanne opened the letter a lot of red glitter came falling out of the envelope. We have noticed that he sometimes moves his eyes and will smile once in awhile. Luke is determined to put his GoPro on. He said that he did record something suspicious during recess.
We named our Elf, "Fernando". The class will keep you updated on what "Fernando" is up to:)
